2008 Northern Aboriginal Christian Convention
Over 200 people gathered for fellowship, teaching and a great time of
celebration on 'Delta Downs' Aboriginal Cattle Station (100kms out
from Normanton).
Hosted by Normanton Christian Centre, the weekend featured Aboriginal Pastor Billy Williams from Brisbane; a Youth Ministry team from 'Door of Hope', Tasmania; Hazel Lauridsen with the Mobile Christian Bookshop bus; and worship led by 'Crossflow' with other musicians, and singers.
Buses of people came from NSW, Brisbane/Logan, and Mareeba; and others attended from Doomadgee, Atherton, Townsville, Mt Isa, Lake Nash, and Ann Street.
