Overview
What a joy and fulfilling journey it has been to:
- See lives transformed and made new!
- See the growth to eight ministry centres under the umbrella of Churches of Christ AICF 'mother' Church.
- Walk with aboriginal Christians and churches and see them now making the decisions for the ministry to Indigenous Australia - we, now in a support role.
- Be part of the team of Churches of Christ members and churches who have enabled the growth of AICF by their prayer, support, finance, and hard work.
Ministry Focus
The expanse of the ministry has necessitated that much of the 'formal' administration work be processed in the Brisbane office, where both Lyle & Hazel work full time voluntarily from their home, while each Ministry Centre is still responsible for their local ministry.
The focus of the Brisbane office is:
- Administration
- Support to Ministry Centres & staff
- Dispatch of used dclothing
- Emergency & short-term accommodation
- Hospital visitation & support for remote area medical patients
News - December 2009
It has been a busy year and we apologise that with some family commitments, support ministries, and health slow downs we have got behind with the volume of administrative work. We will be focussing on more regular Newsletters in the days ahead.
We enjoy and are blessed to be part of the AICF ministry. Do pray for us and for 'someone/s' who can take the 'mantle' of this God call. Like Elijah the time will come when the Lord will take us to Him and another will do what the Lord directs.
