Kevin & Julie Slabb

Pray for us as we seek God's guidance in serving Him and the people of Eidsvold.

Kevin is from the Aboriginal Bundjalung Nation whose traditional area is the N/E Coastal region of NSW. Kevin grew up in Fingal Community and was nurtured by his Christian mother. He clearly remembers as a 12 year old being challenged by the message of an evangelist and receiving God's gift of salvation. In his teenage years he turned his focus from God's way. When 30, he was challenged to really live God's way and serve Him. Kevin has been involved in Christian Outreach in outback NSW & Queensland & ministering at Fingal. He and his wife Julie nurtured four gifted sons and a daughter.

What a joy for them now that their five kids, (4 with their marriage partners) are actively involved in Christian leadership and ministry to aboriginal people at the Fingal Fellowship, YWAM, Kalgoorlie W.A., and N/W NSW and beyond.

Kevin was able to do training in evangelism at the Haggai Institute in Hawaii.

After rearing the children Julie did training for several years. She specialized in Health Science and her work focus being with Aboriginal Health, and Health Education Programmes.

They have been able to take the Aboriginal Christian Leaders Training Course with the Wontulp College (externally from Cairns). Kevin continues studying to do a Diploma of Theology Course in 2009.
