Sarah Weinholz

God's whispers and call to involvement with Aboriginal people have been heard by Sarah Weinholz since, when 10 years old, she began visiting Woorabinda with the Scripture Union Teams.

Sarah has made four visits to Mareeba with the Gladstone Church (her home church) and later worked in the Aboriginal Community at Borroloola N.T. Then God brought Sarah back to Mareeba. She has become a valued part of the Mareeba Church Family.

In hundreds of ways she assists in the Church's ministry programme, administration, children's programmes, bus driving, and community work group programmes. Sadly Sarah's employment contract concluded at the end of 2009. Such is the value of Sarah's work with the Mareeba Church she is now receiving a part salary from the AICF to enable her to stay on in Mareeba and maintain her involvement. How we praise and thank God for the Mareeba financial supporters who are helping make this possible. Do pray for Sarah in the ministry with the Mareeba Church and Community.
